  • PLC Automation

  • We choose the right PLC for the right task. We program it, build it into a control cabinet and equip it with an user friendly operator interface. We use default The Beckhoff PLC's because they are user friendly, compact, and have lot of possibilities. Also the prices are very interesting. For the HMI's (Human Machine Interface) we use the ESA operator panels.

  • Custom designed electronic circuits and embedded systems

  • When you want to automate a specific application with a custom designed electronic circuit. This can happen when there is not enough space to house a PLC wit it's I/O cards, DIN rail terminals and wire ducts. The custom designed electronics is builded on a proffesional designed and manufactured PCB (Printed Circuit Board). If you have a schematic of a circuit, and you want to implement it on a PCB, Peternet Electronics can do it for you. We can use a microcontroller (8051, AVR or PIC), FPGA, an embedded computer with an operating system such as Linux or Windows XP embedded. Everything is equipped with a user interface. Peternet Electronics can design the circuit and make a high quality PCB. The PCB design software we use is Zuken Cadstar.

    An electronic design take the following steps:
    • discuss the specifications (function, inputs, outputs, power supply, user interface, housing, safety, mechanical issues, ...)
    • offer
    • analyze the problem and divide it in smaller building blocks and construction of the provisional schematics
    • prototype
    • test, debugging, tuning and measurements
    • final schematic, PCB layout, PCB production data
    • production of required number of PCB's
    • file (schematics, datasheets, user manual)
  • Reverse engineering and reproduction of PCB's

  • It often happen that the PCB's with the electronics are obsolete. In lot of cases we can help by reverse engineering and producing the PCB. We use the most recent technologies. Therefore the resulting PCB is a much higher quality product then the original.

  • RFID applications

  • RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) replace more and more the barcode. The advantage is that the tag don't have to be attached visible anymore. There are lot of applications for RFID like into warehouses. Peternet Electronics can help you implement RFID.

  • SMS applications

  • SMS is no longer a toy anymore for the young people. Nowadays these short text messages with the GSM are used more for more professional applications. They can directly message you about statuses, values, alarms of the most diverged applications or processes. Therefore Peternet Electronics have the possibilities to implement SMS into electronics or automation.

  • Network and TCP/IP applications

  • Ethernet and internet are everywhere nowadays in daily life. Therefore more and more electronics or automation applications are equipped with a network interface. Peternet Electronics will often build electronics that can be connected to a network and communicate via TCP/IP for example. An application is electronics that can be controlled or configured by a web browser.

  • USB applications

  • A modern computer don't have the good old RS232 port anymore, although is is still used a lot. Therefore it will happen often that we equip the electronics with an USB interface.

  • Datacommunication

  • Modern electronics communicate with other electronics. For this purpose, there exist a lot of busses and protocols like CAN, RS232, RS485, Modbus,... Peternet Electronics can assist you with it.

  • Wireless applications

  • Suppose you want to transfer the status of one or more I/O's or analog signals over a long distance. In some cases cables are too complex, too expensive or impossible (like over a river). Also with this we can assist you with wireless solutions.

  • Electronic software

  • Peternet Electronics provide also the necessary software to control electronics for PC (Windows and Linux) and the microcontroller itself. In most cases an electronic design also means writing code. In most cases we use the programming languages C and C++.
